After climbing Colorado’s Mt. Bierstadt, one tester reported, “Above 13,000 feet with wind blowing about 20 mph and light rain, this jacket was perfect. It cut the chill and insulated during breaks, and it breathed so well that I didn’t take it off until I got back to the trailhead.” The fabric’s polyester/spandex blend, with two-way stretch, is best for snow and light precip; it’s not waterproof.
